• It doesn`t promote flame spread, moderate smoke generation and no burning droplets
  • Tested to European safety standards
  • CE (Conformite Europeenee) means that the material meets all EU safety requirements
  • For living spaces without harm to health — doesn`t emit harmful substances during normal operation
  • UV marking of the entire material, which can`t be forged
  • premium film that is easy to distinguish from others
TEQTUM meets the EU environmental standards, but doesn`t have a sharp smell inherent in European films.

The material was developed for the EU countries.
That is why high safety and quality requirements set by European standards were mandatory from the very first stages of development, from chemical composition to production technologies.

Innovative TEQTUM EURO film for stretch ceilings is presented in the European Union markets, primarily in Germany, France, Poland, Lithuania and Estonia.

Fabric has been tested in accordance with the EN-13501-1 European standard.
Testing: fire reaction, flame reaction,
Evaluation criteria: Flammability, heat release rate, flame propagation rate, smoke rate, toxic gases, burning droplets or particles, and combinations of these aspects.
According to the test results, the fabric is classified by flammability classes and subclasses of smoke formation and formation of burning droplets. The testing consist of a series of tests that simulate the situation of ignition and fire development as realistically as possible.

The first flammability test with a “small (single) flame” (SFI-TS EN ISO 11925-2)

If this stage is passed successfully, then further study the behavior of the material in case of fire (SBI TS EN 13823) including the fire propagation rate, and in the case of TEQTUM EURO, its non-propagation, including in the transverse direction (LFS) is carried out.

EUROPEAN FIRE SAFETY STANDARDS

A key point in the production admission to the EU internal market.

Studies of the impact of fire on building materials is a very important point in the admission of products to the EU internal market.

TEQTUM EURO fabric has been tested in accordance with the European standard EN-13501-1:

Testing: reaction to fire, reaction to flame.

The first flammability test with a “small (single) flame” (SFI-TS EN ISO 11925-2:).

If this stage is passed successfully, then further study the behavior of the material in case of fire (SBI TS EN 13823) including the fire propagation rate, and in the case of TEQTUM EURO, its non-propagation, including in the transverse direction (LFS) is carried out.

The obtained indicators are used to calculate the total heat release (THR) and the fire development rate (FIGRA). In these tests, both total smoke propagation (TSP) and smoke growth rate (SMOGRA) are measured.

THE "CE" MARK IS THE EUROPEAN UNION SECURITY CERTIFICATE

TEQTUM EURO complies with the strictest environmental standards of the European Union, and at the same time doesn`t have a sharp smell inherent in European films.

Since the material was created primarily for the German market, TEQTUM EURO first of all passed the mandatory procedure of confirming compliance with EU directives and harmonized standards of the European Union.

As part of the confirmation of the CE marking right (abbreviation from French Conformite Europeenne – “European compliance”) it has successfully confirmed its compliance with:

– REACH European regulation (Registration, Evaluation and authorization of Chemicals, Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006). The strictest law regulating the content of chemicals in goods supplied to Europe.

– “Fire Reaction EN 13501-1” fire reaction tests and “Release of dangerous material EN 12149” standards for the release (evaporation) of hazardous substances.

– installation tests – “Heat shrinkage EN 14716 Annex E” heat shrinkage rate

– operational tests – “Susceptibility to the development of microorganisms” test on susceptibility to microorganisms development

FIRST RELIABLE PROTECTION AGAINST COUNTERFEITING

UV MARKING ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE TEQTUM EURO GUARANTEES PROTECTION AGAINST COUNTERFEITING! TEQTUM IS THE ONLY FILM WITH A REALLY RELIABLE PROTECTIVE MARKING
Teqtum GmbH protects its customers from unscrupulous sellers who can sell fakes – the products substandard and dangerous to health and life under the guise of a good, branded film. TEQTUM is the only film in Russia with reliable protective marking

Unfortunately, there is a widespread fraudulent practice  when cheap and dangerous films are offered with fake certificates or without certificates at all.
Indeed, how can an ordinary buyer be sure what kind of film is in front of them, because they are often sold a dangerous fake or cheap and harmful “noname” under the guise of branded materials? All materials for stretch ceilings look very similar to each other. And when they also actively hypnotize with a very low price, the foreign name and a beautiful copy of the certificate received a year ago for the only roll of the genuine Tectum bought?

UV marking on the front side
TEQTUM EURO guarantees protection against counterfeiting.

Genuine TEQTUM EURO is marked on the back side with a special colorless paint, and on the front side – with UV paint, which is invisible under normal operating conditions.
Take the ceiling made of TEQTUM EURO film, the film that was previously only available in EU countries. Place it on a flat surface, face up. Turn on the ultra violet flashlight (we recommend Convoy S2+ with Nichia 365 UV diode, it`s not very bright but with the right UV range) and illuminate the surface. You will see the “Tectum EURO” marking. In normal light, the marking is invisible. On the inside of the film, this inscription “Tectum EURO” is applied with transparent paint in a mirror and straight arrangement and it is visible in normal light.

It is very important that the marking can be seen and shown on the installed ceiling. We climb closer to the surface and illuminate it with the same UV flashlight – and here is the marking! It is possible to demonstrate it to everyone including to the inspections – there`s the marking, so our ceiling is genuine Tectum EURO!

The certificate for TEQTUM EURO is valid only with the presence of the material marking! The genuine TEQTUM EURO film can always be distinguished by special marking. - be vigilant, cheap films are toxic every day and extremely dangerous in case of fire!

RoHS Directive 2

Since 2013, as part of the mandatory CE certification of products for the European market, Directive 2011/65/EU, abbreviated as RoHS 2 (Restriction of Hazardous Substances 2), has come into force.

This Directive establishes the requirements for mandatory control of the content of the substances hazardous and harmful to humans and the environment, RoHS Directive 2 sets the exact concentration of the content for 6 harmful substances, the excess of which is unacceptable:

Lead (Pb) — 0.1%

Mercury (Hg) — 0.1%

Cadmium (Cd) – 0.01%

Hexavalent chromium (Cr 6+) – 0,1%

Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) — 0,1%

Polybrominated diphenyl esters (PBDE) — 0,1%

The RoHS2 Directive imposes obligations on manufacturers, importers and sellers of products in the EU to monitor and collect evidence on the concentration of harmful substances specified in the Directive. TEQTUM EURO has successfully passed all tests, none of the regulated substances in it exceeds the norm!

According to the results of tests and inspections, TEQTUM received the right to be marked with the CE mark (abbreviation from French: Conformité Européenne — “European conformity”). The material is not harmful (dangerous) to its consumers` health and the environment, TEQTUM EURO meets all the requirements of the European Union, and this is confirmed by real tests.

TEQTUM films comply with the strictest environmental standards of the European Union

All TEQTUM films comply with the strictest environmental standards of the European Union, and don`t have a sharp smell inherent in European films.
